    By accessing and using ObituaryAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

    2. Description of Service

    ObituaryAI provides AI-powered obituary generation services. Users can input information about deceased individuals and receive professionally written obituaries in various tones and styles.

    3. User Responsibilities

    You agree to:

    • Provide accurate and truthful information
    • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
    • Respect the privacy and dignity of the deceased and their families
    • Not use the Service to create false or misleading obituaries
    • Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials

    4. Payment and Refunds

    One-Time Purchase: $19 for the complete obituary toolkit
    Professional Subscription: $29 per month for unlimited professional use

    All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We offer a seven-day refund policy for one-time purchases. Contact support within seven days using the purchase email; approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Professional subscriptions renew monthly until canceled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

    5. Privacy and Data Protection

    We take privacy seriously. All personal information provided is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our Service.

    6. Content Ownership

    You retain all rights to the information you provide. Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may use the generated obituary text whether you use the free draft or purchase the toolkit. ObituaryAI retains rights in the underlying software and generation system.

    7. Limitations of Liability

    ObituaryAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

    • Any errors or omissions in generated content
    • Loss of data or service interruptions
    • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

    8. Acceptable Use Policy

    You may not use ObituaryAI to:

    • Generate content that is defamatory, offensive, or harmful
    • Violate any laws or regulations
    • Infringe on the rights of others
    • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our technology
    • Overload or disrupt our servers

    9. Modifications to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
